Mike Eagen played Division II football (1999-2000) and baseball (1999-2003) for Saint Joseph’s College (Rennselear, IN). Mike was a two year letter winner in both sports. As a junior, Mike was All-Conference in baseball and Academic All-Conference as a senior.
Mike obtained his Criminal Justice degree at Saint Joseph’s College in 2003. Mike also obtained his Masters degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.
In 2004, Mike founded the Midwest Prospect Baseball League with the hopes of making it one of the most competitive wood bat collegiate baseball leagues in the Midwest. Since its inception, the MPBL consistently has anywhere from 5 to 12 teams each summer and with the help of league coaches, the MPBL is one the largest and most competitive collegiate wood bat leagues in the United States.
Mike would like to thank each coach in the league for their contributions in making the Midwest Prospect Baseball League what it is today.
